When do the one-time $50 and monthly $25 credit take effect?
Starting September 16, 2022, free trial users will receive a one-time $50 credit just for signing up. Existing free trial users with free trial minutes will transition to the one-time $50 credit. Pay-as-you-go customers will receive a promotional monthly $25 credit. The $25 recurring credit does not apply to Music Mastering.
Is there a Free plan?
Yes, all new account signups receive a one-time $50 credit. No credit card required to sign up. The one-time $50 credit is available automatically upon self-service sign up. The one-time $50 credit expires after five months from account signup.
Will my unused monthly credits rollover?
Your $50 credit will be available for a period of 5 months from account signup. The promotional $25 credit will not rollover and unused credit expires at the end of each month.
How can I take advantage of the monthly $25 credit?
Users who sign up for an account and become a pay-as-you-go customer are eligible to receive a $25 credit every month. The credit is automatically applied at the end of your billing cycle. The $25 recurring credit does not apply to Music Mastering.
What will happen to my existing trial minutes?
Our existing minutes will be replaced with our new credit system. All current and new free trial customers will receive a one-time $50 credit. All pay-as-you-go customers are automatically enrolled in the $25 monthly free credit. Free trial customers can upgrade at any time to receive the monthly free credit. These credits grant you the freedom to apply your discount to any participating Dolby.io product.
What is the difference between pay-as-you-go and enterprise accounts?
Pay-as-you-go customers are billed to the set rates defined on the pricing page. Enterprise customers typically have higher frequent usage and receive custom rates along with priority support for their needs. In order to become an Enterprise customer, please reach out and talk to one of the customer experience members.
How are financial information and transactions kept secure?
We process all payments via Stripe, enabling leading industry methods to ensure all safety for our users’ data.
Can I pay with a bank account or credit card?
All pay-as-you-go customers are eligible to pay by credit card. If you would like to pay by bank account (ACH) please upgrade your plan to Enterprise. Contact sales to learn more about Enterprise plans.
Can I add multiple credit cards?
All users are able to add multiple credit cards but will only be charged on the default payment method they have set. Whichever payment method is set as default on the billing date will be charged for the prior month’s usage.
Does my address need to reflect my billing account?
Yes, your saved address should reflect your billing address on file.
What is the billing cycle start and end dates? Can I change the date?
Billing cycles run from the first day through the last day of the month. All usage and billing periods are based on UTC times. No, you are not able to adjust your billing cycle dates. If you need further assistance, please contact support.
Where can I see my most recent invoice?
All monthly invoices can be accessed under "Invoices" located in the side navigation on your account dashboard. Your invoice for the current billing cycle will have the most up-to-date usage and respective billing.
Can I make an ad-hoc payment?
Ad-hoc payments are not allowed at the moment. You will be charged at your current date of usage with the payment method you have on file.
Can I pay more than I owe and get credit for next month?
Sorry, we don’t accept payments above and beyond current usage.
Will I be notified if my payment fails?
Yes, we will notify the email address associated with your account if your payment method fails.
What happens if I am currently on ACH payments?
You will either need to provide a credit card to keep on file or upgrade your plan to Enterprise. Contact sales to learn more about Enterprise plans.
Is tax included?
Taxes will be assessed according to the billing address on file beginning January 1, 2022. We will not assess any tax to usage prior to the effective date.
How do I provide my Value Added Tax (VAT) ID?
We will be providing functionality to add your Value Added Tax (VAT) ID to your account dashboard. You will be notified by email when this feature is available.
