Dolby.io API usage in dashboard

Description

Dolby.io offers three main APIs - Communication API, Media API and Streaming API. The usage for these is captured in the dashboard where the user can easily view it based on the search criteria, such as date, application/stream name.

Communication and Media API usage

The usage of Communication API and Media API can be accessed in the dashboard under Communication & Media tab in Usage.

The data can be filtered according to the applications and specific dates. 

Please note that the Communication and Media API usage data is not immediately reflected. The delay in usage data in the dashboard is normal. It typically takes up to 24 to 48 hours for the usage statistics to be updated and appear in the dashboard.

If you wish to view the usage information before it reflects in the dashboard, you can use our Get Jobs REST API to retrieve a list of jobs. This API will provide you with detailed information about the jobs that have been processed in the past 31 days.

Streaming API usage

The Streaming API usage is available under Streaming tab in Analytics. 

The data can be filtered on the basis of the stream name and dates. 

Please note that the bandwidth usage is not available in real time. The value in the dashboard is updated every 15 minutes with the latest information containing details on how much data is available on your plan.

The amount of usage can be retrieved using the Analytics APIs (account total); however, it doesn't provide how much is left based on your current plan, which you may have to calculate.
